So we've created a new blog. A blog of our life since coming home with Mikiyas titled "Life With Three Hattons".
Unfortunately, for some readers, the blog is private for "security reasons", having many pictures of our son, our family and our personal experiences that may embarrass our son one day. :)
If you have been an avid follower of our journey thus far, and have not already been added to our email list, please contact us at slhatton@shaw.ca. We will be pleased to extend an invitation to our new blog: www.hattonfamily2.blogspot.com
Thank you so much for the amazing support and love! It will always be remembered and appreciated. Now ... count those days until adoption round 2!!

I am a single person just begining the research stages of international adoption - specifically in Ethiopia. Thanks for your beautifully written blog. It really helped with thinking through the details. Like you I have always felt linked to Africa. I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana after college and am now getting very excited about being a mom of an Ethiopian child soon. Thank you for sharing your experience!
