Some people may consider it over board to be trying Ethiopian food, learning the culture and having music around, but it is very important to us. We don’t want Mikiyas to ever let go of who he is and where he is from. He will always be Canadian. He will always be a Hatton. He will always be our son. But if we’re not careful, the Ethiopian part of him will not be an always. If he chooses to let that part of him go when he is older, that can be his choice, not ours. We hope he embraces his history.
We’re just happy that we really do love the food. If you haven’t tried it before … do so. It’s delicious and an inexpensive meal.
