Hey everyone.
Here are some friends from the adoption world. They have two beautiful children in Uganda that they hope to bring home soon. Unfortunately, they have hit a very large financial hurdle. I'm not sure of the specifics, but their first agency walked away with thousands of dollars that this family cannot get back. They are now in a huge rush to raise $12,000.00 minimum. They are doing everything they can, including selling possessions like wedding rings, furniture and china.
Fundraisers are happening ... including silent auctions, IPod touch raffles, Ghana jewelry auctions, ordering cookbooks and a church that has offered to provide charitable receipts. If you can help in anyway ... even by offering words of encouragement, please visit their blog: Mercy Moi!
