We received an update from CAFAC that the approval letter to Vital Statistics and Immigration has not been issued from MOWA yet and delivered to the Embassy. This is needed before Immigration will issue a new birth certificate and passport. The reason is unknown, but a guess has been given that it may simply be because the courts are closed and therefore the head of MOWA has been away a lot during this time. We may or may not see the next step until after courts re-open on October 13.
