Finally ... the STEP parenting course is complete. Last night [May 2] was the final class. We even received certificates - one for each of us. There will be people there we will miss visiting with, but it will be nice to have our Tuesday nights back. Last night we mostly did a summary, followed by discussion about tuning into our child's emotions and then visiting.
We also received confirmation Monday [May 1] night that our dossier is already back from the Ethiopian Embassy in Ontario. It is now at the CAFAC office again and will be sent to Africa hopefully soon. Things have really been moving along much quicker than anticipated. It'll slow down now as we wait for the referral. That, there really is no estimate of time for.
On to other people ... we are happy hear that some of our online friends in this same adoption process are having their files moving through quickly too. Congratulations to you all who have had their files sent to Ethiopia now and to those few who have recently received referrals!!! You all know who you are. We personally are mixed with feelings of joy and jealousy - ha-ha!
