Final Homestudy Meeting?

We met with our social worker today. It is quite possibly the final meeting we need to have with her for the second adoption. She is going to confirm this with us once she knows for sure whether we need to do one additional questionnaire. This is very quick, and exciting. She just needs to write the homestudy report.

Lyle and I have almost completed getting the other paperwork together. Reference letters are coming in, police checks are done [we're still clean of criminal activity], financial reports are finished, Ministry background check is on it's way, medical reports are being written, photographs are being printed ... and all other paper work like Power of Attorney, Letter of Intent etc. are signed and notarized.

We're well on our way, and perhaps if all goes well, our dossier contents will leave BC for Alberta before January ends. Then ... it's authentication etc. in Ottawa.
